I am Chronometer, widely known among my friends as the Dour Dane as I am quite cynical, especially when it comes the games industry, it is mostly down to being part of the business in the first place, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows!
A bit about me, I am 23 *cough* I mean 27 years old, live in Central London, been playing games since about 1990 when I got my first Nintendo, I was such a Mario fan-boy (He’s so much cooler than Sonic, and you know it).
I moved to London in 2007 and started working in the games industry, turning my hobby into my job was a dream come true, also a strange fulfillment of a prophecy I started in the 5th Grade during IT class. Our teacher wanted us to do a business card in Microsoft Publisher, mine read: Professional Games Tester & Reviewer. Funny how the world works isn’t it?
My hobbies, when I am not working, is my PS3, PC and watching football. I am also a bit of an MMO nut.
I’ve also recently taken to Twitter, I’m pretty boring though to be honest.
I also really like moaning about the increasing monetization of games and lazy game design. Oh and Mortal Strike-like game mechanics, and the London tube, and beta tests I never get into, and people who eat liver. And Jellyfish. I really don’t like jellyfish.
